About the Workshop

  • The main objective of “National Workshop on Nanophotonics” is to enlighten the PG Students, Research Scholars and faculty members in the country with the current methodologies, new innovations, modern experimental techniques, new mataerials, etc being implemented in the core area of Nanophotonics.

  • The workshop will have invited lectures from researcher working in the areas of Nanophotonics such as integrated photonic devices, nanomaterials, metamaterials, new light sources, ultrafast detectors, solar cells, PVCs, optical computing, biophotonics, etc.

  • A hands on session for participants is planned, where they will leanr the current software tools available for use in the area of nanophotonics. The experts from the Software Industries such as COMSOL, Intellisuite, Sylvaco, Coventorware will guide the participants with the problem solving methods in the area of Nanophotonics.

  • The workshop will also have a paper presentation by participants on their current areas of research.

  • The invited and contributed papers will be published as proceedings.

  • The Workshop is sponsored by SERB-DST, GoI, MPCST-Bhopla, TEQIP-World Bank as well as by SGSITS, Indore.
